Horses
| Hot Roddin Latchet

Hot Rod is a 10 year old bay gelding. He is 15.3 with a nice stocky build, remarkably athletic, and a very nice mover. This gelding was born on our farm and he has lived with us his whole life. We have used him for barrel racing, drill team, pushing cows, lots and lots of trail riding, and he has also been jumped lightly. He has never had any soundness or health issues. Hot Rod has an excellent disposition. He was not started until he was a 4 year old, and his first time under saddle we took him on a trail ride and he did great! He was started slowly on barrels and my 12 year old sister sporadically ran barrels on him for 4 years. My family has not used him much over the past year and now he is sitting and needs a job. This gelding is far too nice not to be used. Hot Rod is very smart and quick so he needs an experienced, assertive rider who can bring out his full potential. He would be great in any avenue you want to take him in, but he prefers to live the life of a performance horse. This horse was born to work! He is a steal at $5000. He was not registered but both his parents are. |
